M.S. Special Education Generalist with P-12 Licensure

Brynn is an accomplished educator with a passion for creating inclusive and supportive learning environments for students. Beginning her career as a secondary English teacher in Shelby, MT, Brynn quickly recognized the importance of differentiated instruction to address the diverse needs of students. In addition to teaching AP and high school classes, she designed new electives and coached speech and debate, demonstrating a commitment to expanding educational opportunities.Driven by a passion for helping underserved youth, Brynn worked with group homes and advocacy organizations like Youth Dynamics to support students impacted by trauma. This dedication continued in Columbia Falls, where she focused on teaching real-world English skills and managing classroom behavior, addressing the socioeconomic challenges faced by many students. During a year away from public schools, Brynn developed an innovative academic program for adolescent young men with substance use disorders, integrating local and online educational resources. This experience laid the groundwork for Brynn's role at Linderman Education Center in Kalispell. There, Brynn rebuilt and managed a self-contained behavior program, supporting roughly 15 students annually who face Emotional Behavioral Disorders and other outside struggles such as:  poverty, homelessness, trauma, and mental health issues. Collaborating with a dedicated team, Brynn helps students achieve academic, social-emotional, and transitional goals while partnering with community resources for meaningful experiences. Throughout Brynn's career, she has been committed to sharing effective teaching strategies with other educators, regularly presenting on topics such as differentiation, technology integration, and interventions at conferences and workshops. Brynn's dedication to education and student success has made a significant impact on the communities she serves.
